Can never go wrong with a Mike Weis (drummer of Zelienople) related project! Mirror of Nature's debut stretches its legs over 6 long-form tracks. Droning guitar modulations of the post variety hum and fizzle over a bed of Weis's slow and steady mallet percussion and rolling marimbas. It's all pretty spectacular if you can slow down and listen for a while. Hope to hear more from this project.
