about

Tracks 1 & 2 are a stereo mixdown from the live 4-channel setup.
Tracks 3 & 4 use audio from the live session and extra mixing in of samples saved to my laptop during the live session.

All Audio recorded at ESS in Chicago on December 6th 2013 in front of a live audience. During "Light passes..." I distributed bells throughout the crowd and asked the audience to ring them as they were inspired throughout the performance.

This was part of ESS 2013 Oscillations series. This same evening Bill Mackay w/ Matt Lux also performed. They have uploaded their set here: billmackaymattlux.bandcamp.com/album/december-concert

Thanks to: Alex, Dan, and Adam Vida and everyone else at ESS for giving me the opportunity to perform as part of this series. It was an honor and a highlight of my year. Also thanks to Kirstie and Nicholas Zettle for moral support that evening (and Nicholas for driving me there and back too!)
